CD Scholarships gives dancers the opportunity to perform in front of respected people within the ballet world, including Artistic Directors, teachers, talent scouts and representatives from leading schools and companies. It’s a chance to get yourself in the room, make connections and be considered for future opportunities.
CD Scholarships connects dancers with prestigious ballet schools and organisations, with scholarships and training opportunities available throughout the event.
More than $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded across our four competition levels, giving dancers the opportunity to receive financial support to put towards their future training and development.
Every competitor will receive written feedback from our judges, delivered directly to their inbox. Regardless of your competition result, you’ll leave CDS with feedback that you can take back into the studio and continue working on.
Performing on stage is such an important part of a dancer’s development. CDS gives dancers the opportunity to build confidence, challenge themselves and gain experience performing in a professional competition environment.
CD Scholarships welcomes talented dancers from across Australia and around the world. More than 500 dancers have travelled from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore and beyond to take part, making it an incredible opportunity to meet other dancers, be inspired and feel part of the wider ballet community.
